C.M.B.S T'ai Chi for Health Association Est. 2001

Beginners / Adults / Seniors

Perpetual Ongoing classes and continuing Education for all LEVELS with 8 week classes all year long

T'ai Chi is a Chinese Martial Art, an internal art that is practiced as slow as possible. It can combat stress and improve flexibility, balance and overall health. A series of slow movements align the body’s internal energy paths, enabling chi (internal energy) to flow freely through the body.

Chi Kung, which dates back thousands of years BC, is an ancient Chinese exercise to control and increase the body’s internal energy.

An hour long class includes Shaolin Temple exercises, short forms in the Sun and Wu style, Chi Kung, and a meditative form drawn from Falun Dafa, a Chinese exercise much like yoga.  Advanced classes include yang style short form, animal frolics, eight brocades, and other forms.

Results include: reduced stress, better concentration, improved balance, increased range of motion, weight loss, and better posture, long life with better health and general well being.

David and Isse Elston Phillips [Directors/Sifus] are certified by nationally famous Master George Graham, and Isse is also certified to teach by Sifu Susannah DeRosa. Isse has practiced for 29 years and taught for 8 years and David has practiced for 16 years and taught for 8 years.
