T'ai Chi for Health Association Est. 2001

Beginners / Adults / Seniors

Perpetual Ongoing classes and continuing Education for all LEVELS with 8 week classes all year long

T'ai Chi is a Chinese Martial Art that can combat stress and improve flexibility, balance and overall health. A series of slow movements align the body’s internal energy paths, enabling chi (internal energy) to flow freely through the body.

Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese exercise to control and increase the body’s internal energy.

An hour long class includes Shaolin Temple warm-up exercises, short form in the Sun and Wu style, Chi Kung, and a meditative form drawn from Falun Dafa, a Chinese exercise much like yoga.  Advanced classes include yang style short form, animal frolics, eight brocades, and other forms.

Results include: reduced stress, better concentration, improved balance, increased range of motion, weight loss, and better posture.

David and Isse Elston Phillips is certified by nationally famous Grand Master George Graham, and Isse is also certified to teach by Susannah DeRosa.
